WELCOME TO HMM!
Houston Maharashtra Mandal (HMM) is a Houston based non-profit organization established in 1975 to benefit the people of common Maharashtrian heritage. Today there are about 600 Maharashtrian families within Houston and its vicinity. HMM works to promote goodwill, understanding and appreciation of Maharashtrian culture. HMM's activities include celebration of religious, cultural and traditional festivals, hosting plays, music concerts, conducting lectures and seminars, camping, etc. It provides a platform for the local community to pursue artistic endeavors for expression of ideas, values and entertainment. HMM is operated exclusively for the purpose of furthering the social welfare of its members through social, cultural, religious and recreational activities.
Come one, come all... join us in our celebrations and happiness!
